Real people
Students come from different backgrounds — some are beginners, some are martial artists, some are professionals, some are looking for structure and change in their lives.
Here are some of their experiences.
35 Years Old, 1 Months of Training
“Overall my experience here has been great. I came here with very little knowledge about Kung Fu and leaving with some more knowledge and in better physical condition. Personally, I’m happy that I got to be Shifu Yanjun student and learn from him. I found some of the speeches constructive and necessary for everyone and part of the experience. I very much enjoyed the life in the Temple. After almost 5 months of backpacking around Asia, I was hoping to find a place where I can have a routine, discipline and structure again and this place gave those to me and even more.”
32 Years Old, 10 Days of Training
“This was a great experience even if 10 days might be a bit too short because as I start to adapt to the life here, I have to leave. It’s a great family with so much kind and interesting people. A great pleasure to train in such good mood and funny ways as the Shifus have a good sense of humor. Even if hard at the beginning, the training is really good and varied. Once again made in a good mood with fun from the Shifu. The Temple is an amazing place. To finish, thank you for the experience it will be a good memory, nice people met along the way and smile of Shifu in my mind for long.”
